Block Kids Competition – Eisenhower Elementary Success

The NAWIC Portland #54 Chapter is proud to celebrate an exciting achievement from the 2026 NAWIC Block Kids Competition hosted at Eisenhower Elementary School on January 9, 2026.

Following the local competition, 1st place winner Maisie Wallis was selected as the Pacific Northwest Region winner for the NAWIC Block Kids Competition. Her creative building project advanced through regional judging and will now move on to the national-level competition.

The NAWIC Block Kids Competition encourages elementary students to explore creativity, engineering, construction, and STEM learning through hands-on building activities using LEGO bricks and other materials.

NAWIC Portland #54 is honored to recognize Maisie’s accomplishment and thank Eisenhower Elementary, Mrs. Campos’ class, and all participating students for supporting student creativity and future careers in construction and engineering.
