Welcomes new members to the chapter and maintains the membership list; works with the President to plan Quarterly Social Events and present Membership Awards.

Responsible for communications to and from the chapter, maintaining the Website, & Social Media feeds.

NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation (NFSF)
Since its founding, NSFS and NAWIC have given out more than $4,000,00 in scholarships to students pursuing construction-related studies. The local NFSF committee works to ensure chapter scholarship funding is maintained, and markets scholarship availability to the community.

Community Service
Maintains partnerships with existing projects and seeks out new venues for members to give back to the community. The focus is on women/girls construction-related organizations.

Fundraising
Plans and runs the chapter’s annual fundraising efforts, including seeking sponsorships and event planning for Night with NAWIC.

Design Draft Competition
Chapter lead on NEF’s annual design event. Promotes events to local students. Serves as liaison for project questions and performs all needed communication with the national office.

Block Kids
Plans and runs the chapter’s annual participation with local schools in the NAWIC Educational Foundation’s Block Kids event.

WIC Week
Develops slate of activities for the chapter, including seeking out tours, speakers, event venues, etc. Works with Salem & Eugene Chapters on civic outreach and provides information to the national committee.

Works with regional and national committees to develop programs for new-to-the-industry professionals; partners with student and apprentice programs in the area, where possible.
