Membership COMMITTEE

Morgan D. & Marilyn Morrison - Welcomes new members to the chapter and maintains the membership list; it works with the President to plan OSE’s and Membership awards.

Professional Development & Education (PD&E)

Amy Nemitz, Liz Cowen, Misti Burdine & Kandace Marks - Develops slate of chapter meetings including arrangement of tours, speakers. Works with VP Facilities.

Finance & BudgeT

Stephanie Carkin, Amy Nemitz, Charris Sonne-Phinney - Develops and maintains the budget for the year.

Marketing & Industry Outreach

Charris Sonne-Phinney - Maintains and seeks our partnerships with other industry organizations. Arranges chapter participation and marketing at industry events.

CommunicatION

Kandice Marks & Kylie Clarke - Responsible for Website & Social Media Feeds

NAWIC FOUNDERS Scholarship FOUNDATION (NFSF)

Lauren Holmes - Since its founding, NSFS and NAWIC has give out more than $4,000,00, in scholarships to students pursuing construction -related studies. The local NSFS committee works to ensure chapter scholarship funding is maintained, markets scholarship availability to community.

Community Service

Amy Nemitz - Maintains partnerships with existing projects; seeks our new venues for members to give back to the community. Focus is on women / girls construction -related organizations

Fundraising

Vacant - Plans and runs the chapters annual fundraising efforts including seeking sponsorships and event planning for Night with NAWIC.

Design Draft Competition

Vacant - Chapter lead on NEF’s annual design event. Promotes event to local students. Serves as liaison for project questions and performs all needed communication with national office.

Block Kids

Sara Quitugua & Kelly Aust - Plans and runs the chapters annual fundraising efforts including seeking sponsorships and event planning for Night with Block Kids.

WIC Week

Amy Nemitz, Gloria B, Stacy Flint - Develops slate of activities for chapter, including seeking out tours, speakers, HH venues etc. Works with Salem & Eugene Chapters on civic parameters and provides information to communications committee and national.

Emerging Professionals

Stuti Oza - Works with regional and national committees to develop programs for new to the industry professionals; partners with student + apprentice programs in the area, where possible.
