Service Committee invites you to roll up your sleeves for a rewarding 2-hour volunteer
session at the Oregon Food Bank!
What We’ll Do:
Sort fresh produce (onions, potatoes, and apples) to help feed our local
community. The Food Bank provides everything we need – we just bring our energy,
teamwork, and NAWIC spirit!
Event Details:
When: Thursday, March 5th | 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Where: 7900 NE 33rd Dr, Portland, OR 97211
Space: Limited to 30 volunteers (first come, first served!)
What to Bring/Wear:
• Closed-toe shoes (required)
• Hair tie if you have longer hair
• Layers for comfort (warehouse temperatures can vary)
Accessibility: We’re committed to including everyone! If you have ADA or accessibility
needs (like requiring a chair), please let us know so we can ensure you’re comfortable.
