Wow, can’t believe that September is here. Hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is ready for the fall weather and football!
Quite a few of us just got back from AMEC in Nashville. It was a great trip filled with educational speakers, networking and fun times. Stay tuned for Aryn and Kelly’s summary reports detailing the events and speakers that they attended. Also check out the website as all of the speakers information, notes and materials have been posted if you would like to get more information about what happened in Nashville.
Next up, our September meeting will be the installation of new officers to the Board. We have an awesome group of new ladies coming on to the Board and the energy is good to propel us into a new excited NAWIC year. Please join us as we install the Board members.
We also have the results back from the survey so we will be discussing the results and any changes that will be occurring. We will also be nominating our paid delegates to APC, so if you are interested in attending, please let me know. APC is in October and will be held in Reno, Nevada.
We are well on our way getting ready for our annual Brewfest event. Please reach out to your contacts in the construction industry telling them about the great event. Ticket sales are open! We have over 100 people at the event last year, and it would be so great if we could beat that!! We are still looking for sponsorships and auction items so please let me know if you have anyone interested and if you need any ideas. This is our one and only fundraiser so please help out chapter be successful.
