ASPE - TriMet's Tilkum Crossing

This presentation will provide an overview of construction from start to finish of Tilikum Crossing, the first bridge to be built over the Willamette River in Portland in over 40 years. At nearly 1/3 mile in length, it is also the fi rst cable-stayed bridge to be built in the region. Unique in the US, it will carry light rail trains, buses, streetcars, bicyclists and pedestrians, but not cars. It is part of the Portland- Milwaukie Light Rail project; 7.3 miles that connects downtown Portland to Milwaukie and Clackamas County.
